Podcast!

From the time I first started showing people A New Book of Old Hymns, people have been asking where they can get recordings. For a while I had made a CD of recordings from the monks of Sao Paolo from the now defunct Christus Rex website. Their recordings weren’t great, but they were there, and now they aren’t even there anymore.

So, now I have found a free hosting arrangement whereby I can upload to my heart’s content. Using the little widget that should appear below, you should be able to download the recording should you so desire.

It’s built for podcasts, so this episode is more a podcast style thing, running through the first 5 pages of the hymnbook. Being a podcast, there are many ways to access the recordings, all linked in my Anchor.fm profile.

I’d still prefer a trained choir and proper recording studio, but for now this is hopefully a step in the direction of the world embracing Gregorian Chant.

Save the Liturgy. Save the world!
