Late last year I thought I’d make some resources for each Sunday’s Latin Gospel reading. It’s been fun. It does tend to make me confused though, as I am often thinking about the reading for the following Sunday.

My most popular videos on Youtube are still those on the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I’ve been asked at least twice about another Little Office, dedicated to Our Lady under the title of her Immaculate Conception.

After a few hours unsuccessfully trying to get Albert Bloomfield’s Vespers Book to compile, I gave in and am using his precompiled 1st Vespers handout, with my own ammendation for the Magnificat to make it into a 2nd Vespers plus the Commemoration of the Feria for 2020.

Low-cost, portable, rugged computers have always had a place close to my heart. Frugally making do with the most pared down specs, or maybe just saving money as per my Scottish and Jewish roots.

It’s that time of year again. Since 2003 every year someone has requested that I put together the Proclamation of Moveable Feasts for the feast of the Epiphany. My local parish / apostolate doesn’t use it, so I don’t get to hear it sung, but it is reassuring that around the world people still sing it.

From the time I first started showing people A New Book of Old Hymns, people have been asking where they can get recordings. For a while I had made a CD of recordings from the monks of Sao Paolo from the now defunct Christus Rex website.

Knitted in the round in gold 8 ply with a charcoal briquette in black. This pattern used to be available through Ravelry, but since their No Trump policy came in, I have wanted to distance myself from that platform.

I found a new website: Learn Church Latin It’s by a Catholic homeschooling mum like me, who, unlike me, has done actual proper Latin courses at actual proper educational institutions! I am stoked!

When typing up booklets I often forget the accent marks. I take it for granted now that after years of reading Latin I can guess how most words are pronounced - especially with parts of the Mass, where there is a lot of repetition over the years.
